Woonsocket – Woonsocket has the highest concentration of French-Canadians in all of New England. CVS Pharmacies are headquartered in the city. Woonsocket had a huge blizzard in 1978 that covered the city in 54 inches of snow.
East Providence – East Providence has a high concentration of Portuguese residents. The population of East Providence is about 48,700 residents according to the 2000 US Census.
Little Compton – Although there is only one school in Little Compton, the city’s center is a popular place for dining and shopping. Little Compton recently had a fire that destroyed many buildings in the city commons, which are currently being rebuilt.
Portsmouth – Portsmouth was the site of an important capture during the American War for Independence. It was founded by Anne Huthinson in 1639. The city has a population of about 17,000.
