Vancouver – Vancouver was named after the same Canadian city of the same name. The city itself is known as “the couve” by local residents. Vancouver was once a camping spot for the Lewis and Clarke expedition.
Everett – Everett is home to the Boeing 747 production plant. The city was founded in 1893. Everett has a large historic homes district where many originally built homes still stand today.
Kent – The city of Kent is currently undergoing a large renovation to create housing and retail development called “Kent Station”. It is the home of sporting goods company R.E.I.
Redmond – Redmond is home to the largest church in Washington called Overlake Christian Church. It is also known as the bicycle capital of the Northwest because of the many bike trails. Microsoft is Redmond’s largest employer.
Bremerton – Bremerton is the hometown of Death Cab For Cutie singer Ben Gibbard. It is also home to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Bremerton is connected to Seattle by ferry ride for commuters.
